Viktor Alternatives in 2026: When to Consider Cole
Choose an AI coworker by where a request starts, what it can do in your connected accounts, and whether you can verify the result. Cole is worth evaluating when your team wants to work through messaging channels such as WhatsApp or LINE alongside work chat.
Published by Pocodot, the maker of Cole. This guide compares documented capabilities; it is not an independent ranking or a comparative performance benchmark.
Start with what Viktor actually offers
Viktor describes an AI employee in Slack and Microsoft Teams that works with connected tools and a cloud computer. Its workspace interface does not define the limits of what its integrations can do.
For example, its Salesforce documentation includes CRM record actions, including updates. Its ElevenLabs connector documents outbound calling through Twilio. These require the relevant connected accounts and permissions. Calling through that setup should not be described as an absent capability, or assumed to be identical to Cole's calling experience.
Viktor also offers a free starting allowance. The question is whether its workflow fits your team, not whether it can act on business tools at all.
Where Cole is worth evaluating
Cole's channel directory lists Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, iMessage, email, and phone. If colleagues already send requests in these channels, test whether Cole can handle the handoff in the account and conversation you use. Microsoft Teams is coming soon: Cole does not work in Teams yet, so a Teams-only team should wait for that release.
Channel availability is only the starting point. Test message delivery, group behavior, permissions, and the connected action. Text replies, voice notes, and phone calls are different experiences; do not assume identical language or voice support across them.
| Question | Cole | Viktor |
|---|---|---|
| Where do you ask for work? | Messaging channels listed in the channel directory; setup varies by channel. | Slack and Microsoft Teams, according to its product page. |
| Can it change a CRM record? | Check the required action and permissions in your connected account; verify the resulting record. | Salesforce record actions are documented. Confirm the connection and intended action. |
| Can it make a phone call? | Phone calling is a separate channel included on paid plans; check account requirements. | ElevenLabs/Twilio outbound calling is documented through a connector. |
| Can you try it without subscribing? | 150 one-time credits to try Cole. Phone calls and browser tasks require a paid plan. | A free starting allowance is listed on Viktor's pricing page. |
| What proves the task worked? | The intended record, message, or call outcome in the destination system. Count retries and human corrections for both products. | |
Compare the cost of completed work
On September 28, 2026, Pocodot's monthly Starter plan was $19 per workspace with 2,000 credits per cycle. The free allowance is 150 one-time credits to try Cole, not a promised monthly refill.
Viktor's pricing page listed a $100/month Team card with 40,000 monthly credits, while its title and footer still referred to plans from $50/month. Confirm the applicable offer before purchasing. This guide does not resolve that discrepancy by selecting the lower or higher figure.
Credits from different vendors are not comparable units of work. Run the same tasks and record subscription cost, credits consumed, separate service charges, retries, and human review time. A lower entry price alone does not prove a lower cost per completed task.
Run one representative workflow before switching
Use a small, repeatable task with a result you can inspect. The following is a suggested evaluation, not a reported customer result:
- Choose the request and destination. For example, ask the assistant to read an approved source document, prepare a CRM change, and report the result in your work chat. Choose the actual application and record your team uses.
- Connect only the required accounts. Record the plan, permissions, starting channel, and exact action available. Do not assume that listing an integration guarantees every action.
- Review the proposed change. Check the account, record, recipient, and any approval step before allowing the action.
- Verify the final state. Open the destination system. Record whether the task completed, needed a correction, failed, or was only drafted. Keep those outcomes separate.
- Repeat with the same inputs. Include an ambiguous request and a missing-permission case. Record elapsed time, human effort, retries, and total cost.
If calling matters, run a separate test with a consenting recipient and the actual voice setup. Check pronunciation, whether the call connected, and the recorded outcome. A successful chat test is not a calling benchmark.
Questions to answer before choosing
Does Viktor support voice calls?
Its official ElevenLabs page documents an outbound call action through Twilio. Evaluate that connector setup against the calling workflow you need.
Does Viktor have a free option?
Yes. Its current pricing page lists a free starting allowance. Check the provider's terms rather than assuming it renews monthly.
Does Cole support Microsoft Teams?
Not yet. Teams support is coming soon. See Cole on Microsoft Teams to get an email when it is ready.
Can I move every Viktor workflow to Cole?
Do not assume a one-for-one migration. Recheck each integration action, permission, trigger, approval, and output. Start with one representative workflow before transferring recurring work.
Is Cole the best Viktor alternative?
That depends on your task. Cole is a candidate when its channels fit how your team communicates. Keep Viktor in the evaluation if its workspace and connected tools fit. This article does not establish a universal winner.
