Purchase care: Cole keeps an eye on your orders
Product update, . Shipped on 29 September 2026.
Most people do not miss a return window because they forgot the rule. They miss it because the reminder never existed. Purchase care is Cole quietly setting those reminders for you.
How it works
Purchase care is off until you say yes. If you have connected Gmail, Cole may offer it once, at a moment it is relevant, and he will not keep asking. Once it is on, Cole looks at new order, shipping and booking emails in your inbox. Promotions are ignored. When you first turn it on he also reviews recent orders from the last two weeks, then sends you one summary.
For each order, Cole sets up what is actually useful:
- a reminder two days before the return window closes
- delivery tracking, or a reminder on the delivery day
- a check-in reminder for travel bookings
- a price-drop watch on the product page, when a lower price would matter
Emails that are not orders get no reply. Cole only messages you when there is something to act on.
What it looks like
You order a jacket online. The confirmation email arrives, and Cole notes the order and the shop's return policy. When the shipping email comes in, he tracks the parcel and tells you when it is due, and two days before the return window closes he asks whether you are keeping it. If the same jacket drops in price on the shop's page while you can still return or claim the difference, he lets you know.
For a hotel or flight booking, the useful reminder is different: Cole sets a check-in reminder instead of a return reminder. He picks the reminder that fits the order rather than applying one rule to everything.
Turning it off
Say "stop looking after my orders" and Cole stops watching. Reminders and watches you already have can be cancelled in the chat the same way you created them.
What it needs
- A connected Gmail account. Purchase care reads your order emails only after you say yes.
- Credits. Checking order emails and setting watches use credits from your plan. See current plans.
Purchase care builds on inbox and price watches, which you can also set up yourself: "tell me when this drops below 50 dollars" or "let me know when the visa email arrives".
