Medication reminders that wait until you confirm you took it

For anyone who takes a medicine on a schedule and sometimes misses a dose: Cole, the AI assistant by Pocodot, reminds you on WhatsApp at the dose time and keeps nudging at the times you choose until you reply that you took it. It logs the time you actually took it, and if you ask, it times the next check from that real dose instead of the clock. You need a WhatsApp number connected to a Pocodot account, and credits: you start with 150 free ones.

Not medical advice: Cole is a reminder and a log. It does not tell you what to take, how much or when; ask your doctor or pharmacist about that.

How to set up a reminder that waits for you, step by step

    1. Start a private chat with Cole on WhatsApp

Tap Chat with Cole on WhatsApp on this page and send the first message below. If your number has no Pocodot account yet, Cole replies with a link to sign up: sign up, reply YES when Cole asks in the chat, and Cole answers your message.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. You start with 150 free credits, no card needed. Each reminder and each nudge uses a few credits. When you need more, credit packs start at US$3, and the monthly plans are on the pricing page.

    2. Send the first message with the times

Say what to remind you about, when, and when to ask again if you haven't answered. Cole repeats the times and the time zone back so you can check them.

Remind me to take my vitamin D at 8 every morning, and ask again at 9 and 10 if I haven't said I took it.

Who can see my messages and the log?

This is your private chat with Cole, and nothing from your private chats comes into a group. Pocodot's AI processes your messages so it can reply; no human at Pocodot reads them as part of normal work, and a small group of engineers can look at logs during a support investigation. You can ask Cole to forget something, and "Delete my workspace" in your settings deletes your account and its data.

    3. Cole reminds you, then asks again

At the dose time Cole sends the reminder. If you haven't replied by the next time you set, it asks again, and again at the time after that.

    4. Reply when you've taken it

Answer in your own words, or with a voice note: "took it", "done" or "yes, at 9:10". There are no set words. Cole logs the dose at the time you took it, or the earlier time you name, and the nudges for that dose stop.

      yes, took it at 9:10

What if Cole logs the wrong time or the wrong medicine?

Cole only says a dose is logged when it was recorded, and it names the medicine and the time. If either is wrong, tell it, for example "I took it at 7:40, not 8", and it corrects the log. If Cole can't tell which medicine you mean, it asks instead of guessing.

    5. Time the next check from the real dose

If you'd rather the next check follow when you actually took it, ask Cole to move it to 24 hours after today's dose. Cole moves it to the time logged for the dose, and the nudges move with it.

    6. Check, change or stop it

Ask Cole what reminders you have to see them, or tell it a new time to change one. To stop, say so: Cole switches the check off and tells you it sends no more nudges.

What happens if my credits run out?

Cole skips that reminder and tells you it skipped it because your credits ran out. Once you add credits at pocodot.ai/billing, it runs again at its next time. For a medicine you must not miss, keep a phone alarm as a backup.

      Is this medical advice?

No. Cole reminds you and keeps a log of when you said you took a dose. It does not tell you what to take, how much or when. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about your medicines.

    When you don't need Cole

If you never miss a dose, a phone alarm is enough, and you don't need Cole.

    What Cole adds:

    • It waits for your answer instead of ringing once, and asks again until you reply.
    • It keeps the time you actually took each dose.
    • It can time the next check from that dose, so a late morning doesn't squeeze the next one.
