Quick guide
What Cole can do
Cole is your assistant in the chat you already use, like WhatsApp. You write to him like you would to a person, in your own language, and he answers in it. Here is what he does today and, for each one, the line to send him to use it.
Voice notes and voice replies
Send a voice note in any language: Cole listens to it and answers in writing. On WhatsApp he can also answer with a voice note if you would rather listen.
How to use it
Send a voice note like you would to a friend. For a spoken answer, write “reply by voice”.
Groups, with the rules you set
Add Cole to a WhatsApp, LINE or Telegram group. He answers when someone tags him or uses his name (on Telegram, tag him with @ or reply to him); on WhatsApp, a follow-up question right after his answer does not need a new tag. You set the group's rules, and from your private chat you can turn him off in one group, set a monthly credit limit per person in your WhatsApp groups, or have him post a message in your group.
How to use it
In the group, write “Cole, from now on only answer when someone asks you a question”. In private: “tell the Football group we play at 10 on Saturday”.
Reminders and scheduled reports
Cole reminds you at the right time, in your time zone. He can also run a task on a schedule, every day or every week, and send you the result in the chat.
How to use it
Write “remind me tomorrow at 9 to call the accountant” or “every morning at 7 send me the weather in London”.
Email and calendar
Connect Gmail, Google Calendar or Outlook once. Cole reads and sums up your email, drafts replies and handles your meetings. He always asks you before anything goes out in your name.
How to use it
Write “connect my email” and Cole sends you the link. If it is already connected, he says so and does not send another one.
Pages and files
Comparisons, plans, itineraries and lists can become a page with a link you can share, even with people who do not use Cole; checklists remember what was ticked. Send him photos, PDFs, spreadsheets or Word documents: he reads them, and can make you a Word or PDF file when you need one.
How to use it
After a long list, write “make it a page”. For a document: “make me a Word file with this letter”.
Phone calls
On a paid plan Cole makes phone calls for you: book a table, ask about opening hours, check if something is in stock. He confirms the number and the purpose before he dials, and the summary and transcript are in Call History afterwards. Today he calls numbers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Thailand.
How to use it
Write “call the hotel and confirm my booking for Friday”.
Calls in Italy are coming soon. We will tell you when they are ready.
Credits, simply
Everything Cole does uses a few credits: a short answer uses a few, a long task, a voice note or a phone call uses more. You start free with 150 one-time credits, and paid plans add credits every month. If an action fails, you do not pay for it.
Credits included every month:
- Free: 150 one-time credits to try Cole
- Starter: 2,000 credits a month, $19 a month
- Pro: 8,000 credits a month, $49 a month
