Settle it in the group chat: ask Cole to look it up
When your WhatsApp group can't agree on a fact, tag @Cole in the group with the question. Cole searches the web and replies in the group with a short answer and its sources, so everyone sees the same answer and where it came from. You need Cole added to the group and an account that pays for it with credits; you start with 150 free ones.

The Eiffel Tower is taller than the Empire State Building. I'm sure of it.

No way. @Cole which is taller, the Eiffel Tower or the Empire State Building?

The Empire State Building is taller: 381 m to the roof and 443 m to the tip of its antenna. The Eiffel Tower is 330 m, antennas included. Sources: esbnyc.com, toureiffel.paris

How to settle it
Add Cole to the group
Save Cole's number as a contact and add it from Group info, Add members; it can't join from an invite link. Tag @Cole once from the WhatsApp number on your Pocodot account and say yes when Cole asks privately whether your account should pay for the group. After that, anyone in the group can ask.
Tag Cole with the question
Ask it the way you would ask a person, in the group, by tagging @Cole or calling it by name.
@Cole which is taller, the Eiffel Tower or the Empire State Building?
Read the answer and its sources
Cole searches the web, sums up what it found and replies in the group with a short answer and the sources it used. Anyone can open a source and check.
Ask a follow-up if you need one
A follow-up question from the same person right after Cole's answer needs no new tag.
And the Burj Khalifa?
When you don't need Cole
If you are on your own, or one person is happy to search and paste a link, you don't need Cole: a quick web search does the same job.
What Cole adds in a group:
- The answer and its sources land in the group, so everyone sees the same thing.
- Nobody leaves the chat to search and come back.
- Anyone in the group can ask, without an account of their own, once one account pays for the group.
Frequently asked questions
How many credits does a lookup use?
A lookup uses credits from the account that pays for the group, like any other reply: a short answer uses a few, a longer research task uses more. If an action fails, no credits are charged. You start free with 150 one-time credits, and top-up packs start at $3.
Does Cole show where the answer came from?
Yes. Cole searches the web, sums up what it found and cites its sources in its reply, so anyone in the group can open them and check.
What if Cole gets it wrong?
It can happen: web pages can be out of date or disagree, and Cole can misread them. For anything that matters, such as money, health or travel plans, open the sources. If you find a better one, reply to Cole with it and ask again.
Who sees the question and the answer?
Everyone in the group: Cole answers in the group, not in private. Cole's notes from a group never show up in another group, though members who have written there can ask Cole about it in their own private chat. Conversations are never used to train AI models.
